      The MEI Elementary School Impact Awareness Curriculum is designed to engage elementary age students in an understanding of how marijuana use can affect the brain, lungs and heart. Cartoon  images and movement activities demonstrate to students the importance of a healthy brain and body. Engaging and understandable material allows the facilitator to introduce students to the science behind how marijuana affects the brain. The curriculum is standards-based, grade-level appropriate, and designed to be facilitated by a teacher or counselor.
